I’ve spent my career in public service, beginning in New York and continuing in Texas. Along the way, I’ve become increasingly interested in the things that shape how people and organizations work: leadership, technology, systems, community, and the practical decisions that turn ideas into results.
Outside of work, I’m a husband, father, writer, creator, and someone who would usually rather be outdoors than sitting behind a desk. This site brings those parts of my life together and gives me a place to share what I’m learning, building, and thinking about.
THE JOURNEY
My career began in New York City, where I entered law enforcement and learned the job in one of the most complex environments in the country. Years later, my family and I made the move to Texas, where I continued that career in Houston.
Over time, my interests expanded beyond the traditional boundaries of the job. I became increasingly involved in community work, organizational improvement, technology, training, and the challenge of making complicated systems work better for the people who actually use them.
That curiosity now extends into writing, content creation, technology projects, and other ideas I’m developing outside of my professional role. I’m interested in practical solutions, how people work together, and what makes organizations and communities function better.
Community
In 2022, I founded Texas Shomrim to create a stronger network for Jewish first responders across Texas. What began as an effort to connect people with shared experiences has grown into a community focused on professional relationships, mutual support, public service, and strengthening the connection between first responders and the communities they serve.
